Postdoctoral Researcher

One postdoc fellow opening is currently available to develop biomaterials-based approach for regulating stem cell fate and tissue regeneration. Ideal candidates should have strong expertise in synthesizing and characterizing novel biomaterials for cell-instructive niche, tissue engineering, or controlled drug delivery. Prior experience on evaluating cellular responses to biomaterials in vitro and in animal models would be a plus. A Ph.D. degree in polymer science, materials sci & Eng, bioengineering, chemistry, biology or other related fields is desired.

Graduate Student

The Yang lab has openings for new Ph.D. students and we are looking for highly motivated and intelligent students who enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team setting. We can only accept students that have already been admitted to the Stanford programs. We have a highly interdisciplinary team with students coming from various departments and graduate programs. Please apply directly to the graduate programs in departments that suit your background the best if you are interested in joining the Yang lab.

Undergraduate Student

We always look for passionate and dedicated undergraduate researchers to join our lab, with the goal to contribute significantly to generate co-authored publications in the end. Our lab has a group of wonderful and hardworking undergrads from various disciplines, and they play a significant role in our lab research.
